TESTING CHIRAL MODELS OF VECTOR MESONS IN MANY-PION DECAYS OF \rho(770) AND \omega(782)

Predictions of the models based on effective chiral Lagrangians of vector mesons ρ(770) and ω(782) are considered for such measurable quantities as the partial widths of various and decays and the corresponding excitation curves. Analogous curves for the channel are obtained for τ lepton decays. Also found are the angular distributions for various combinations of the final pions from the and decays in the e+e--annihilation and photoproduction. A simple method for the order-of-magnitude estimation of the partial widths based on the essentially threshold character of the above many-pion decays is presented.
